“Unbelievable”, said Ellis.
“ They all have had a really good time”, said the class teacher.
“Amazing what you can do with clay”, said Joseph. These were only some of the comments made by the y6 class.
It was great to see the amalgamation of ideas carried out by the class and the workshops took on a very practical, hands-on role creating 2 and 3 dimensional artworks.
The class really seemed to enjoy the workshops more and more as time went on and seeing their artwork develop. The Headteacher also paid us many visits and took a genuine interest in what art we were creating, filling the classroom with positivity and encouragement.
“The best art we have ever done” said Cadi.
All in all the children were thoroughly engaged and very excited about their artworks and were keen on knowing the date of the Locws schools exhibition.
The class were very proud of what they had achieved in two days “Its amazing what you can do in two days” said Ffion.
“ An experience, a trip we wont forget” said Jamie.
A fantastic 2 days and a great way to start the Locws workshops 2014.
