The teacher was well organised with prepared boards and paint ready to create three murals with the class.
We dissected the school badge and mixed it with drawings that we had taken on day one during the tour. The murals created were a fabulous combination of ideas of the children’s work. They were brightly coloured with slogans inspired by Jeremy Deller and colours by Jon Burgerman. There were stage curtains and elephants form Tom Goddard’s work and patterns from Craig Fisher. All in all a great combination of imagery boasting Locws influences.
Whilst some of the class painted others made masks of animals inspired by Tom Goddard’s procession which also tied into their curriculum theme of woodland creatures. Some great artwork by a very enthusiastic class and teacher.
