Last weekend we held a live drawing event at the top of Princess Way, which was based on Laura Sorvala’s plinth portraying the four sides of Swansea. We asked the public to participate and tell us their vision for the City whilst Laura was finishing the ‘Future Swansea’ side of her plinth.
We also have launched a drawing competition which is based on the future idea of Sorvala’s artwork and on the weekend we offered young people to draw together with Laura and tell us what they would like to see in a Future Swansea. We had fantastic responses with colourful skyscrapers, flying cars as well as many nations happily living alongside with one another.
