Tine Bech has worked with the communities of St Thomas, Grenfell Park and Port Tennant as part of the SA1 Swansea Waterfront Public Art Programme to develop an artwork that reflects the area’s rich maritime history.

Through a series of ‘Light Drawing’ workshops the artist has explored the history and memories of the local community and developed the inspiration for a bold and colourful sculpture that floats in the River Tawe.
A selection of the drawings are on display in SA1.

Mae Tine Bech wedi gweithio gyda chymunedau St Thomas, Parc Grenfell a Phort Tennant fel rhan o Raglen Celf Gyhoeddus Glannau Abertawe SA1 i ddatblygu gwaith celf sy’n adlewyrchu hanes morol cyfoethog yr ardal.
Trwy gyfres o weithdai ‘Light Drawing’, mae’r artist wedi archwilio hanes ac atgofion y gymuned leol ac wedi datblygu’r ysbrydoliaeth ar gyfer cerflun trawiadol a lliwgar sy’n arnofio yn Afon Tawe.
Mae detholiad o’r lluniau yn cael eu harddangos yn SA1.
