Locws Schools 2009: Trehafod

Guided Tour

With a small group of dedicated listeners, it was hardly surprising that some interesting observations were made throughout the tour.

Thoughts were that Marko Mäetamm’s work ‘Graveground’ was a ‘broken up park; colourful, effortless, neglected and unique’, but questions arose as to whether it was art or not.

Tanya Axford’s film seemed to be almost hypnotic until the synchronised swimmer appeared which made the group jump.

‘Dylan Thomas’ by Neeme Külm caused a pause in conversation, reminding the group of a Jack in the Box that doesn’t pop up.

Everyone enjoyed the performance piece by Paul Grangon, seeing it as clever how every thing was in sync with each other and the whole performance was like a ritual.
