During the Easter holidays we were busy building a Fantasy Swansea at the Art Across The City hub…
Fantasy Swansea is a response too Graham Dolphin’s new artwork ‘Swansea Track 10’. Graham was inspired by the many other Swansea’s around the world, created with the help of local children, hundreds of ‘wild west’ signs pointing in the direction of these different Swansea’s. This new Swansea we have created is full of colourful trees, skate parks, monsters, monster trucks, supersonic cars, weird and wonderful buildings and stained glass windows.
Fantasy Swansea started as a blank sheet of paper in our hub in the Quadrant Centre. As people came in and out of the hub the fantasy city started to grow. We asked people to add things they would like to see in our fantasy city, the results are awesome. Fantasy Swansea is a very colourful place that looks like it would be really fun to live in.
