We would like to invite you to the launch of Locws International’s Education and Outreach Exhibition in the Gallery on Level 2 at the Grand Theatre, Swansea on Thursday 25th September 2014 at 1:30pm. The exhibition will be opened by The Lord Mayor Of The City & County of Swansea Councillor Ceinwen Thomas.
The exhibition showcases Locws International’s Education and Outreach programme and the artwork created by local creative talent during Locws Schools in 2014 with artist David Marchant. The participating schools are Townhill Primary School, Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Llwynderw, Plasmarl Primary School, Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Bryn-Y-Mor, Terrace Road Primary School, Talycopa Primary School, Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Pont-Y-Brenin, and Arfryn Education Centre.
The exhibition also features the winning entries and a selection of the best artworks submitted for our summer competition; Dylans Character Wall . We invited you to design your own cartoon drawings inspired by the writing of Dylan Thomas and his wonderful characters. There will be a prize giving ceremony at the exhibition launch, winners will be awarded their prizes by The Lord Mayor Of The City & County of Swansea Councillor Ceinwen Thomas. Final Deadline for entries: Friday 19th September.
