Free tours around Swansea city centre have been offered to the public as well as schools and colleges in the area. They have been an enjoyable experience for everyone involved, with participants gaining inspiration for their studies, developing different perspectives on art, and others sharing their memories of Swansea in relation to the artworks.
So far over 200 people have been guided around the city centre, taking photographs, drawing pictures and talking about Swansea.
Guided tours are available free of charge to members of the public, local groups or organistations as well as schools and colleges. To book a tour please email info@artacrossthecity.com or visit our information hub on Oxford Street.
“The Artworks really made the children realise that art can be lots of different things and it opened their eyes to what art is”

Referring to Fiona Curren’s work, a student said “It looks like every colour in the world has been turned into wood and put on a tree”.

“On the tour they told us all about the Swansea Devil – I couldn’t believe it! Ive never noticed him there before, he looks so sinister”
