We would like to invite you to the launch of Locws International’s Education and Outreach Exhibition in the Colonnade Gallery at The National Waterfront Museum, Swansea on Thursday 8th October 2015 at 1:30pm. The exhibition will be opened by The Deputy Lord Mayor Of The City & County of Swansea Councillor David Hopkins.
The exhibition showcases the artworks created during our Locws Schools education programme, developed in conjunction with Arts in Education, City & County of Swansea, it sees schools from the Swansea area visit and respond to the public artworks exhibited for Art Across the City 2015. The ten participating schools are Blaenymaes Primary, Gowerton Comprehensive, Grange Primary, YGG Llwynderw, Gowerton Primary, Brynhyfryd Infants, Mayals Primary, Waun Wen Primary, Oystermouth Primary, and Seaview Community Primary School.
The exhibition also features films created by Communities First residents during a series of recent film-making workshops, these Agored Cymru accredited courses are part of the new Locws Creative Participation Programme, in partnership with the City & County of Swansea and the Swansea Creative Learning Partnership.
The exhibition runs until Sunday 8th November 2015, open daily from 10am – 5pm.
