David Long has created a heraldic celebration of Swansea, complete with the opening line from Dylan Thomas’ Under Milk Wood: ‘To Begin at the Beginning.’
Attached to a large freestanding scaffold outside the Dylan Thomas Centre, Long’s work commemorates the past whilst representing new possibilities for the future.
David Long is best known as an illustrator and muralist; often found at the Sink Live Art & Music events in Sin City or scouting new projects in the Swansea area and beyond. David creates large scale paintings, urban illustration and murals for a wide range of clients with a particular interest in social venues, events and festivals.
