{"id":9658,"date":"2015-01-12T15:17:01","date_gmt":"2015-01-12T15:17:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.locwsinternational.com\/?p=9658&#038;langswitch_lang=en"},"modified":"2015-02-10T09:21:45","modified_gmt":"2015-02-10T09:21:45","slug":"graham-dolphin-primary-school-workshops","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/locwsinternational.com\/?p=9658","title":{"rendered":"Graham Dolphin Primary School Workshops"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As part of <b>Art Across The City 2015<\/b> we are running workshops in Swansea primary schools for pupils to take part in making one of the artworks for Swansea\u2019s annual international public art exhibition which opens on 21<sup>st<\/sup> March.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.locwsinternational.com\/?attachment_id=8113\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-8113\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Locws outreach exhibition116\" src=\"http:\/\/www.locwsinternational.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/Locws-outreach-exhibition116.jpg\" width=\"670\" height=\"503\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Thanks to a partnership with artist, <b>Graham Dolphin<\/b>, who has designed the artwork, and with support from the Arts Council of Wales, the workshops have been offered to <b>six<\/b> Swansea schools and will take place during the Spring Term 2015.<\/p>\n<p>Pupils will design and make a collection of \u2018wild west\u2019 style signs, in a variety of colours, sizes and fonts, each with the word \u2018Swansea\u2019 on it. Each sign will then be fixed to a series of signposts in Castle Square.
