Teacher, Teaching Assistant and Artist collaborations are always important to make workshops work well and this is exactly what we had here at Pontybrenin.<\/p>\n

Recycling was the key and on arrival lots of materials had been gathered ready for my visit.
\nSome great ideas conspired after discussion and we all got stuck into making some 3d models. Tom Goddard<\/a>\u2019s work regarding Elephants spiced up a sculpture which commented \u201cCruelty to animals must stop.\u201d
\nA model of a computer was collaged with Locws Art on screen inspired by Rhian Edward<\/a>s \u2018Mega Poem<\/a>\u2019. And quirky little creatures were used for Mice.<\/p>\n

Nick Jordan<\/a>\u2019s \u2018Nature houses\u2019 inspired another groups work.
\n\u201cI can\u2019t believe how good it all turned out\u201d said Tomos
\nA large book shaped bookcase, inside with hand made books spelling \u201cMore books are needed\u201d were one groups comment inspired by Jeremy Deller<\/a>\u2019s and Naill Griffith<\/a>\u2019s work.
\nHouse boats and robots were also made with inspiration from the tour inspired by Art Makes children Poweful with the robots body stating \u2018More Art is needed\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve had a wonderful two days working with David Marchant. The 3d models that the children made were inspirational\u201d, said Sian Edwards(Class Teacher).<\/p>\n
