{"id":8848,"date":"2014-08-19T10:03:06","date_gmt":"2014-08-19T10:03:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.locwsinternational.com\/?p=8848&#038;langswitch_lang=en"},"modified":"2014-08-21T10:05:14","modified_gmt":"2014-08-21T10:05:14","slug":"locws-schools-2014-ysgol-gynradd-gymraeg-bryn-y-mor-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/locwsinternational.com\/?p=8848","title":{"rendered":"Locws Schools 2014: Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Bryn y Mor"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It was an absolute pleasure to work with Mr. Rhys Jones and Y5 for this project.<\/p>\n<p>With enthused partners and children on arrival there were great ideas and preparation had been made to create some excellent Artwork ready for my visit.During the tour, discussions were made to create some murals to be constructed on the front of their school entrance.\u00a0The class idea was to deconstruct Welsh Nursery Rhymes inspired by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.locwsinternational.com\/?portfolio=jeremy-deller&amp;langswitch_lang=en \">Jeremy Deller<\/a>\u2019s work \u201cMore Poetry is needed\u201d turning them into visuals inspired by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.locwsinternational.com\/?portfolio=jon-burgerman&amp;langswitch_lang=en \">Jon Burgerman<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The class was split into groups, a carousel of painters and makers got to work , some working on the murals whilst others working on smaller personal \u201crelief pieces made from wood and paper-mache.\u00a0Elena said \u201cOur mural has been really creative, it\u2019s not been like anything we have done before\u2019<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe really. Really.
