Right from the start, the children totally immersed themselves into the Artworks.
\nTallulah asked about the work by Jon Burgerman \u201c Is it everything that Dylan Thomas likes? \u201cJake asked if one panel represented \u2018Nature\u2019, one \u2018Dylan Thomas\u2019 and the other \u2018War\u2019.<\/p>\n

Whilst contemplating about the Jeremy Deller piece ‘More Poetry Is Needed’, Elena said, \u201cThere are things in poetry of how your life may turn out when you\u2019re older\u201d. <\/p>\n

Charlie said, \u201cits easy to read, so Poetry doesn\u2019t become extinct\u201d.<\/p>\n

Jake mentioned that his dad wrote poetry as a pastime and said, \u201cthere needed to be more public places to show off Poetry\u201d. He was please when I explained that there was a Mega Poem created by Rhian Edwards. and the fact that we could add to it.<\/p>\n

Lawri commented on the fact that children can express themselves through the Medium of Art and Cameron said that he had seen the ‘Art Makes Children Powerful’ artwork a thousand times while passing in the car.<\/p>\n

We stopped off at the Amphitheatre and ate our lunch whilst enjoying Jacob Dahlgren\u2019s work. We added to the Mega Poem in Welsh. Jake asked if Craig Fisher\u2019s installation was of a bombed suburban house whilst Elena thought it represented a bombed hospital with references to the crosses on the walls.<\/p>\n

At Thomas Goddard\u2019s work Elena said, \u201cIs it an elephant as a baby, then grown up, then a ghost\u201d.<\/p>\n

It was a full session and after viewing nine Locws Art pieces we were all very inspired and looking forward to creating our own Art at School. \u201cIts been brilliant to see all of the different types of Art\u201d said Laura. \u201cI really enjoyed today because of all of the different types of Art that you can get. I didn\u2019t think you could make art from writing\u201d, surmised Elena.<\/p>\n
