New stories and poems \u00a0from Niall Griffiths, Rhian Edwards and Rachel Trezise will appear across Swansea.\u00a0Niall Griffiths\u00a0\u00a0is an award winning author, whose book Kelly + Victor was made into a recent feature film. He also writes travel pieces, restaurant and book reviews, and radio and screen plays.\u00a0Griffiths was born in Toxteth, Liverpool, and now lives in\u00a0Penrhyncoch\u00a0near\u00a0Aberystwyth.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><br \/>\n<strong>Who are you?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m <a title=\"niall bbc wales\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/wales\/arts\/sites\/niall-griffiths\/\">Niall<\/a>. Late forties. Living in mid Wales below a mountain.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hello, how are you?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m absolutely grand.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What do you do?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Write and read and write some more. Then write some more.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What have you been doing recently?<\/strong><br \/>\nI\u2019ve finished the screenplay for my novel <a title=\"wreckage review Guardian\" href=\"http:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/books\/2005\/feb\/26\/featuresreviews.guardianreview20\">Wreckage.<\/a> The film of my third novel, <a title=\"k+v bfi page\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bfi.org.uk\/news-opinion\/sight-sound-magazine\/reviews-recommendations\/film-week-kelly-victor\">Kelly+Victor<\/a>, has been nominated for a BAFTA. And I\u2019ve recently returned from St Helena, which was odd and amazing. Cape Town too, where I nearly got shot, but that was partly my fault. Another lesson learned.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What are you doing for Art Across The City in Swansea?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ll be imagining the thoughts inside giant heads. (Niall will be writing 4 micro-fictions to sit alongside Ultimate Holding Company&#8217;s work in Swansea Bus Station).<\/p>\n<p><strong>What are your ideas behind the work?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To show the epic thoughts occurring behind the faces of people you walk past in the street.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What do you think the public will make of it?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I really don\u2019t know.
