They asked lots of questions regarding the concept behind this mural and liked the unusual portrayal of Dylan Thomas as a genie, the ships with buildings for sails and its general stylisation. Back at school they drew inspiration from this and it also generated several ideas, which involved using a variety of iconic items from the area such as the \u2018Mumbles Train towing Langland beach huts\u2019 and \u2018ships with ice cream for sails\u2019.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>There was a lot of uplifting enthusiasm as we toured the work. Ike particularly liked the paradise tropical feel from Sinta Tantra\u2019s work, whilst Freya commented on the contrast of the background. These observations clearly stood out, as inspiration for the final design of the Mural at school. Henry said some interesting things about <i>Bristow Lloyd\u2019s<\/i> work <i>Coming Soon,<\/i> \u201cIt looks like an American chocolate wrapper\u201d. Lewis spoke about Olaf Breuning\u2019s work commenting on its situation in the main shopping area where everyone uses mobile phones. May said, \u201cI like the way this is drawn as every one was communicating\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The Mural at school was created with enthusiasm throughout this project. Year 6 were very proud of their results and the fact that they were leaving such a great statement at the Front of their school for everyone to see. Ella commented on the finished pieces saying, \u201cit looks amazing and makes the school look more attractive and modern\u201d. Bethan said, \u201cThis is the best piece of art that Oystermouth has ever done. If we are capable of this we are capable of anything\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.locwsinternational.com\/?attachment_id=6744\"
