Artworks inspired by Locws International Art Across The City 2011<\/strong>

\nThe artwork \u2018140 words\u2019 was made which was influenced by the \u201cIndustrial Revolution\u201d. Even though still images the work made your eyes flicker around looking for new words or links between them \u2013 this was reminiscent of Rhys\u2019 work in the museum. When held up to the light this work illuminated via the material it was made from.

\n\u2018Never forget who you are\u2019- a series of letters made by Aaron, Byron, and Joseph. These were photographed on the school grounds as a stand-alone art piece but also acted as a collaborative work to be included as a title for another group\u2019s performance. Danica, Kara, Megan, Elliot and Aidan produced a performance piece, which involved more of the class. Danica said, \u2018the costumes were a challenge to make but we were very pleased with the results\u2019.
\nAnother group made little birds from clay and painted them different colours reflecting various moods.
\n\u2018Looking lost\u2019, initially making masks and photographing in the school grounds continued Seren\u2019s idea. Seren said that \u2018she loved making the masks and really enjoyed directing how the photographs would look\u201d
\n\u2018Our hard work definitely paid off\u201d said Seren.
\n\u2018I would love to do this project again said Georgia\u2019
