{"id":2601,"date":"2010-10-15T11:12:03","date_gmt":"2010-10-15T11:12:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/locwsinternational.com\/?p=2601"},"modified":"2013-02-12T15:32:31","modified_gmt":"2013-02-12T15:32:31","slug":"locws-schools-2010-cefn-hengoed-comprehensive-school","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/locwsinternational.com\/?p=2601","title":{"rendered":"Locws Schools 2010: Cefn Hengoed Comprehensive School"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Guided Tour of Locws Projects 2010\/2<\/strong><br \/>\nIt was very impressive that 35 pupils from Cefn Hengoed Comprehensive School turned up voluntary today to experience the Locws Schools project.<br \/>\nBecky and Lydia quoted that \u201cart is a way of capturing life and that life was a way of capturing Art.\u201d<br \/>\nWhen viewing Rebecca Spooner\u2019s work, Lydia thought that it looked like a clip from a Horror Film. The Ceri Richards paintings gave connotations of birds attacking, contrasting with Rebecca\u2019s film by the fountain, which gave her impressions of bird feeders. She said, \u201cfeed the birds tuppence a bag\u201d \u2013 scary.<br \/>\nDanni instantly reacted to the projections by throwing them onto her notebook.<br \/>\nStacey followed suit, by seeing what they would look like reflecting off the sling on her broken arm \u2013 it was impressive and she said, \u201cI\u2019m quite proud of doing that\u201d.<br \/>\nLaura instantly saw a connection with Tine Bech\u2019s work as a star with the river reflecting the sky.<br \/>\n\u201cArt is the world\u2019s mirror.
