31 October 2010<br \/>\n<strong>Tine Bech<br \/>\nJackie Chettur<br \/>\nRebecca Spooner<br \/>\nSimon Whitehead<\/strong><br \/>\nTo coincide with the Swansea Festival of Music and the Arts, Locws International has commissioned a series of new temporary artworks that reflect the people, culture, heritage and landscape of Swansea.<br \/>\nDanish artist <strong>Tine Bech<\/strong> has worked with the communities of St. Thomas, Grenfell Park and Port Tennant as part of the SA1 Swansea Waterfront Art Programme to develop an artwork that reflects the area\u2019s connection to the docks; <strong>Rebecca Spooner<\/strong> has responded to the landscape of the city creating rich new film work and <strong>Simon Whitehead<\/strong> marks 70 years since the three-nights blitz of 1940 in an interactive journey.<br \/>\nIn addition to these new artworks we will also be re-showing <strong>Jackie Chettur&#8217;s<\/strong> artwork inspired by the Swansea Capehorners: \u2018\u2026it is 89 days this morning since we left the Mumbles Head\u2019, that was created for Locws Projects 2010\/1 and originally shown at the Civic Centre in April and May 2010.<br \/>\n<strong>Information and maps will be available from the National Waterfront Museum in September<\/strong><br \/>\n<br \/>\n[\/lang_en]<\/p>\n<p>[lang_cy]<br \/>\n<strong>Prosiectau Locws 2010\/2<\/strong><br \/>\n8 Hydref &#8211;
