{"id":2215,"date":"2010-03-16T09:47:10","date_gmt":"2010-03-16T09:47:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/locwsinternational.com\/?p=2215"},"modified":"2012-08-21T10:27:05","modified_gmt":"2012-08-21T10:27:05","slug":"locws-projects-20101","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/locwsinternational.com\/?p=2215","title":{"rendered":"Locws Projects 2010\/1"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[lang_en]<\/p>\n<p><strong>30th April \u2013 23rd May<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Jackie Chettur: \u2018\u2026it is 89 days this morning since we left the Mumbles Head\u2019<\/strong><br \/>\nFor Spring 2010, Locws International has commissioned a temporary new artwork for Swansea\u2019s Civic Centre by Wales-based artist Jackie Chettur.<br \/>\nInspired by the maritime history of Swansea, Jackie Chettur has researched elements of the journeys of Swansea\u2019s \u2018Cape Horners\u2019 to create a visual installation on the seaward side of the Civic Centre.<br \/>\nLocws Projects is designed as part of the Locws International programme to work with artists to produce vibrant new artworks which are conceived and exhibited in Swansea, and respond to the people, culture, heritage and landscape of the city.<br \/>\n<strong>Venue:<\/strong> Civic Centre, Swansea<br \/>\nViewable 10am &#8211;
