\u00a0Art Across the City 2015 Tour<\/strong><\/p>\n

Gowerton Comprehensive School\u2019s year 9 children were extremely enthusiastic and were keen to start the tour.
\nLily thought that David Cushway\u2019<\/strong><\/a>s Work looked like a futuristic Alien pod. Courtney and Nishaath thought it looked like a Bobsleigh.
\nSonia said, \u201c the future looks like its degrading\u201d. Ben thought it was based on a Rhino.
\nBy assessing the Archival material of Colin Priest’s<\/strong><\/a> work Jack, Tommy and Tom quickly made a connection with the slip bridge being the source of inspiration of\u00a0 his Artwork.
\nLily thought that it would be a nice idea to incorporate memories from their School as part of\u00a0 their Artwork inspired by the postcard work.
\nJeremy Deller\u2019s<\/strong><\/a> work\u00a0 caused much discussion with Abbie commenting, \u201cits true because its written in black and white. Its Plain and simple\u201d she also said, \u201cI would write \u2018Don\u2019t be boring\u201d.
\nCori-leigh said that she would write \u201cSocial media ruins lives\u201d and Jamie said \u201ctechnology saves lives\u201d. Abi demanded \u201dmake it glow In the dark\u201d.
\nAs we walked further away from Deller\u2019s work some children thought that it looked larger as they could compare it with the surrounding buildings.
\nMichael Stumpf<\/strong> <\/a>generated a lot of discussion. Abi said \u201cis it about being in a personal space bubble?, shaded from reality\u201d.
\nMegan thought that Emily Speed’s<\/strong><\/a> \u201cConcrete Dreams \u201c represented peoples lives are turning into nothingness. Rhys said \u201cIts like children growing up and their imagination sinks downwards\u201d.
\nCori-Leigh stated that \u2018nothing lasts forever as time goes on things fade almost like saying that the building isn\u2019t going to be here anymore\u201d.
\nCori-Leigh also suggesting that the arrows from Graham Dolphin’s<\/strong><\/a> work represented that Swansea is everywhere and Rhyan saying that people from Swansea are all over the World.<\/p>\n
