{"id":10802,"date":"2015-03-12T14:21:06","date_gmt":"2015-03-12T14:21:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.locwsinternational.com\/?post_type=portfolio&#038;p=10802"},"modified":"2022-02-01T18:18:10","modified_gmt":"2022-02-01T18:18:10","slug":"rich-white","status":"publish","type":"portfolio","link":"https:\/\/locwsinternational.com\/?portfolio=rich-white","title":{"rendered":"Rich White"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Resistance<\/strong><br \/>National Waterfront Museum<\/p>\n<p>The work references the experience of change and regeneration; a process that Swansea has experienced over generations, and is no more evident than in the architectural development of the museum itself.<\/p>\n<p>The sculpture consists of a wall built between the old and new parts of the Museum with the \u2018front\u2019 facing the new part and protecting the old. The wall is built from very human items: chairs, tables, cabinets and other furniture, to suggest a level of immediacy and strength-of- feeling that this was put up rapidly with whatever was to hand. As time has gone on the wall has softened and a passageway has appeared.
