Sean Puleston’s artwork evolves from the surrounding landscape, using the emotions, experiences and his senses as a source of inspiration to communicate an abstracted sense of place. Working primarily with drawing, writing and photography he captures the essential elements of the space and re-constructs them into a unique and innovative visual environment. Puleston then manipulates this environment by utilising light, colour and movement, to transform a space sculpturally, finely crafted, both on an intimate and imposing scale.

After graduating in Fine Art from Swansea Metropolitan University in 2009 Sean Puleston has achieved a growing reputation within the contemporary visual arts in Wales. After exhibiting across Wales and being shortlisted for numerous awards including the Eisteddfod Young Artist Scholarship and the Jane Phillips Award. Puleston became a resident artist for the new Wales in Venice programme during 54th Venice Biennale in 2011.
